Part of the rivalry show at The Gigantic Gallery / Benjamin Benjamin Gallery, this is one half of the “Greasers vs. Socs” rivalry from SE Hinton’s Classic book “The Outsiders”.
At age eight, Erin acquired an early interest in art, primarily in animation and illustration. Influenced by childhood cartoons, her work often depicts youthful imagery with undertones of mature content. Her stylized characters cope with heartbreak, yearn for desires that cannot be fulfilled, fall in love, and dwell in solitude. They exhibit the experiences and everyday occurrences we encounter in life.
Born in St. Louis, but raised everywhere, Erin now resides in Portland, Oregon. She studied graphic design at Southern Oregon University and has been showing locally for the last two years.
